Q: When and how can I get the activation code I ordered?
A: Once you complete the online order, you were supposed to receive an email with the order information and activation code from our payment processor Avangate. Please allow a few minutes for the auto-generated license message to reach your inbox.
Check the spam folder if you could not find the license retrieval email, or please feel free to contact us if you do not get the email with your order number or email address.

Q: What's the difference between the trial and the full version?
A: Trial version is free for 7 days, and you can only decrypt but not encrypt files and folders once the trial period expired. And thus, some features such as Restore Password and Set Password are not available for the trial version.

Q: Can I use one activation code of your software on multiple computers?
A: No. One activaion code of our software can be used on one computer only. If you want to use on multiple computers, you need to purchase more codes. Our price is favorable, for the more you purchase, the lower the price is.
Q: How do I activate my software? Do I need to go online to do so?
A: Start Best Folder Encryptor, click the Activate button, copy and paste your activation code to the program, and then click the Activate button. Please note that this is done with internet connection. If your computer cannot connect to the internet, contact us by providing your machine code and activation code, and we will send an offline activation code to you.
Q: Can I use the activaion code again if I reinstall system or replace the hard disk or computer?
A: The activation code can still be used if you reinstall system since the machine code doesn't change.
However, the activation code will become invalid if you replace the hard disk or computer. Contact us by email with your activation code if you encounter the problem.
