When an encrypted folder is opened, it remains encrypted. You can view and edit files in it. Click the Close button(the last one) on Control Board, and the encrypted folder is closed. You can also choose "Auto-close" to automatically close the folder when it is closed and files inside are not occupied.

Besides, you can view and edit files in an encrypted folder via Image Browse and Temporary Unprotect.

Image Browse virtualizes an encrypted folder to a computer disk partition, then open it using My Computer. You use these files and folders inside as usual. When you close the virtualized partition, it will disappear from your computer.

Temporary Unprotect is to decrypt an encrypted folder temporarily, and you can choose to recover the folder to encrypted status manually or automatically.

Full-encrypted folders do not support the Open function, since it encrypts all files in the folder but not the folder itself. However, you can use the function for the files in the folder. In addition, Portable-encrypted files and folders also cannot be opened, but only decrypted.
