How to open a protected folder

Easy Folder Guard allows you to view and edit your protected folders directly, and then automatically re-protect them after being used via the Open function.

Open password-protected folders:

Double-click a password-protected folder, or select the protection record from the software, and click the Open Folder button. Enter your password and click OK. Then a Control Board (you can set to hide it) appears automatically at the top of the screen. (see the screenshot below)

Open hiding-protected and disguised folders:

Start Easy Folder Guard, select the protection record from the software, and click the Open Folder button.

When a protected folder is opened, it remains protected. You can view and edit files in it. Click the Close button(the last one) on Control Board, and the protected folder is closed. You can also choose "Auto-close" to automatically close the folder when it is closed and files inside are not occupied.

Besides, you can view and edit files in a protected folder via Image Browse and Temporary Unprotect.

Image Browse virtualizes a protected folder to a computer disk partition, then open it using My Computer. You use these files and folders inside as usual. When you close the virtualized partition, it will disappear from your computer.

Temporary Unprotect is to unprotect a protected folder temporarily, and you can choose to recover the folder to protected status manually or automatically.
